Thai Court Approves Hacker's Extradition to U.S.

A court in Thailand has approved the extradition of a Malaysian man to the United States for his alleged involvement in hacking credit card information, according to an IDG article in The New York Times.

Gooi Kokseng is suspected of being a member of a crime ring that stole more than $150 million. He will be held in Thailand for 30 days should he decide to appeal. Once extradited, Kokseng could face more than a year in prison.
