McAfee Targets Macs with New Security Software

Computeractive reports that McAfee is targeting Mac users with two new security packages: McAfee Internet Security for Mac and McAfee Family Protection for Mac.

McAfee Internet Security for Mac offers Site Advisor technology to protect users from malicious websites and browser exploits, as well as a two-way firewall. Meanwhile, McAfee Family Protection for Mac provides keyword search filtering.

According to the press release, McAfee Internet Security for Mac is currently on Mac OS 10.5 or later in several countries, including the U.S., where it will retail for $79.99. McAfee Family Protection runs $39.99.
