Vincenzo Iozzo and Ralf-Philipp Weinmann exploited the iPhone in less than five minutes, earning them $15,000 in cash. Charlie Miller, now a three-time Pwn2Own champion, brought down Safari on a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard to win the notebook and $10,000 in cash. At the Canadian CanSecWest security conference, Miller plans to disclose 20 zero-day security holes in Apple's Mac OS X.
Peter Vreugdenhil also won $10,000 for successfully exploiting a vulnerability in IE8 running on Windows 7. Finally, a German computer science student known only by his first name, Nils, also a repeat winner, came away with $10,000 for hacking Firefox on Windows 7.
