Four Jailed for Using Trojan to Steal from Bank Accounts

Four UK-based men have been sentenced to jail for using a Trojan to steal money from bank accounts, reports SC Magazine. The four  --  Azamat Rahmonov, Shohruh Fayziev, Joao Dos Santos Cruz and Paulo Jorgi -- were charged with conspiracy to defraud various financial organizations and money laundering for using a man-in-the-middle attack to steal customers' account information.

UK authorities have been busy combating online crime. As we reported yesterday on our Network Security Edge site, authorities have arrested a man and a woman for allegedly using the Zeus Trojan in a plan to steal online banking information.
