As Microsoft prepares to patch 25 vulnerabilities in its April Patch Tuesday release, Adobe is set to release security updates for Reader and Acrobat via a new update system, reports Xinhuanet. The new automatic updater utility will quietly patch Adobe products in the background without any user interaction required, according to PCWorld.com.
This quarterly update addresses issues in Adobe Reader 9.3.1 for Windows, Mac, and Unix, Acrobat 9.3.1 for Windows and Mac, and Reader 8.2.1 and Acrobat 8.2.1 for Windows and Mac.
